We are proud to claim that all components of our water analysis sensors are manufactured at our German production site in Hartha. We employ professionally trained technical glassblowers who manufacture innovative products with unparalleled precision, designed at our headquarters in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf, Germany. Our state-of-the-art Hartha manufacturing site, which was massively expanded in 2018 and 2021, enables us to serve individual, on-demand customer requests and manufacture sensors for disinfection, pH, and redox measurement in high volumes.
The all arounder among redox sensors: Zirkon® Rx Universal electrodes measure the oxidation and reduction potential (ORP) in almost any water-based environment. They are mainly used in drinking water, wastewater and process water treatment. The high-quality Zirkon diaphragm is surrounded by our low-maintenance TEPOX gel electrolyte and connected to a stable silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference cartridge. The dome shaped measuring electrode is made of pure platinum.
Even more durable thanks to refillable electrolyte: The Zirkon® Rx Process Refill sensors, which can be used as allrounders in a wide range of environments, offer the special feature of a hose connection. This allows the silver/silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) reference electrode to be refilled with new electrolyte. As a result, the sensor is exceptionally durable and cost effective.
Zirkon® Rx Pool sensors are designed for pool and spa applications. They provide reliable and accurate results with an optimal price-performance ratio. The high-quality Zirkonia diaphragm and an additional salt reservoir inside the reference electrode lead to an extended lifetime of this sensor. The dome shaped measuring electrode made of pure platinum is mechanically robust and easy to clean.
Robust redox measurement in demanding chemical environments: Zirkon® Rx Wide Body sensors are primarily used in flotation processes, leaching, neutralization and wastewater control. The durable PPS shaft protects this sensor against aggressive chemicals. The annular PTFE diaphragm is resistant to pollution. Zirkon® Rx Wide Body sensors are easy to install in pipelines due to a ¾” NPT thread. Versions with fix cable allow immersion measurements.
The material, the shape and the quality of the measuring electrode are crucial for an accurate redox measurement possible. Therefore, Kuntze uses only pure platinum or pure gold as material and avoids coatings. We offer our measuring electrodes in two different designs:
The Allrounder – Low electrolyte leakage with maintenance friendly gel-electrolyte. For low conductivity water with refillable electrolyte, or for special applications in process control with protruding junction (can be ground down or covered).
For ultrapure water with very low conductivity – Twisted platinum thread for high electrolyte leakage, or ground glass joint for adjustable leakage. Alternatively with 3 Zirkon junctions for fixed leakage.
Robust and dirt resistant – Teflon junction with large surface area. For heavily contaminated water, open hole junction in combination with hydrolysis-resistant solid electrolyte.
Two-poles S8 plug with rotatable, colored PG 13.5 thread.
Electrodes with integrated temperature sensor (Pt100 or Pt1000) have a variopin plug with PG13.5 thread (rotatable).
Alternatively, our electrodes can also be delivered with fixed cable, e.g. with BNC, DIN plug or free cable ends.
The Krypton® pR Flow provides reliable measurement results for pH and redox potential while also detecting water temperature. The single-channel water monitoring system consists of a measuring device, sensors, flow fitting, software, and cables. In the standard version, the Krypton® pR Flow is equipped with inputs for level and temperature measurement. A digital input and an alarm relay are also included. The built-in flow fitting is pressure-resistant up to 6 bar (at 20 °C) and salt-resistant. All measuring parameters and the measuring range can be selected directly via the system’s user interface.
The Krypton® pR Flow can also be expanded with two additional analog outputs, concentration or volume-based control functions, as well as a Modbus RTU unit and a data logger. Access the measuring system at any time, from anywhere, by connecting to Kuntze Cloud Connect® service. Software updates and add-on modules can also be activated at any time after purchase.
The Neon® pR serves as a measuring and control unit for determining pH value, redox potential, and temperature reliably. In the standard version, the Neon® pR is equipped with inputs and outputs for level and temperature measurement. A digital input and an alarm relay are also provided. All measuring parameters and the measuring range can be selected directly via the system’s user interface.
Neon® pR can also be expanded with two additional analog outputs, concentration or volume-based control functions, as well as a Modbus RTU unit and a data logger. Full connectivity with an existing measurement infrastructure can be established via the Kuntze Cloud Connect® service. Software updates and add-on modules can also be activated at any time after purchase.
