The problem

For tests on hygienisation of food and food-packaging, the laboratory generates ozonized water. Gaseous Ozone is induced via venture valve. The Ozone concentration in the water has to be measured quickly and accurately, a task for which spectrometric methods are not well suited.

The challenge

An online measurement of Ozone in water was essential for the tests, to allow a quick and reliable adjustment of the various Ozone concentrations. The measurement had to be accurate, reliable, and easy to integrate into the test set-up.

Our solution

The Ozone measuring system Krypton K O3 fit all requirements. The sensor could be integrated easily into the set-up, and the measurement allowed an exact adjustment of the Ozone concentrations.
